She has worked in film & television for nearly 20 years and finds teaching meditation enormously satisfying, saying: “It’s very rewarding to share someone’s experience as they 'get' all there is to meditation and feel the immediate and ongoing benefits”.
Passionate about an holistic approach to health and happiness, she’s active, always keen to research and learn more about optimal mind body balance.
Can anyone learn to meditate?
Yes, most people think they won’t be able to because of the constant busyness that goes on in their head, combined with a
feeling of being unable to stop (usually propelled by stress). By learning a technique you experience what we call - restful
alertness - you are taught how to quieten your mind to experience a very still, restful space.
How does it combat stress?
Stress overloads and distorts the nervous system and eventually causes illness. By learning to de-excite your mind and body
you start to dissolve stress and fatigue, as balance is restored you feel less burdened and an ever increasing feeling of well-
being. Increasing your adaptation energy allows you to feel more dynamic, less re-active and more interactive with your
environment. Life feels a whole lot cheerier and a wee bit easier and lighter.
